About RESET

RESET is aimed at acute trauma reactions in children and their caregivers. The program provides concrete, practical tools that can be used quickly and effectively in the field – even by professionals and volunteers without extensive therapeutic training.

The concept is used in schools, daycares, psychiatry, social services, families, workplaces, and international humanitarian efforts with one common goal: to create more regulation, greater understanding, and better opportunities for well-being and development.

The focus is on:

  • regulation of the nervous system
  • rebuilding of safety
  • support for the child-adult relationship
  • understanding of the body’s and brain’s reactions to trauma

Course Center Søbygaard

Courses in picturesque surroundings near Præstø

Søbygaard is a splendid four-winged farm, beautifully situated with horses, cats, deer, wild hares, hedgehogs, pheasants, and fields all around. We are close to Gøngehøvdingen’s forest and there are ample opportunities for walks or runs in the vicinity.

After many years of studying what makes a difference in a busy society, also for people with special needs and their staff, we are now testing the nature hypothesis. We would like to incorporate these principles to a much greater extent in training and courses, so that one feels the change directly in the environment where the training takes place.
