Create a sustainable everyday life in school

Ligeværd, in collaboration with psychologist Kirsten Callesen, has developed three professional webinars for teachers, educators, and school leaders.

A collaboration aimed at disseminating knowledge about children’s and young people’s brains, nervous systems, and stress responses – and transforming that knowledge into concrete actions, so that everyday school life becomes more understandable, safe, and sustainable for children, young people, and the adults around them.

Course Center Søbygaard

Courses in picturesque surroundings near Præstø

Søbygaard is a splendid four-winged farm, beautifully situated with horses, cats, deer, wild hares, hedgehogs, pheasants, and fields all around. We are close to Gøngehøvdingen’s forest and there are ample opportunities for walks or runs in the vicinity.

After many years of studying what makes a difference in a busy society, also for people with special needs and their staff, we are now testing the nature hypothesis. We would like to incorporate these principles to a much greater extent in training and courses, so that one feels the change directly in the environment where the training takes place.
