Mission10Forty – help that makes a difference
Mission10Forty is a Danish international aid organization that supports vulnerable children and young people in the so-called 10/40 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe. I am co-founder of Mission10Forty together with my husband Kim Hartzner, because no child should be forgotten, no matter where in the world’s hotspots they are. The organization helps, among others, Christian Armenian refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh, who have lost their homes and experienced unimaginable abuses. We are active in Ukraine’s war zones and in Iraq.
My work with Mission10Forty is about bringing hope and concrete support, from emergency aid like food and clothing to long-term assistance such as housing, education, and psychosocial support for traumatized children. Every child we reach gets the opportunity to experience stability and care, which can be the beginning of a new life.
